The biblical tallit is worn over the head, like a tunic, rather than wrapped around the shoulders. It is often tied around the waist with a sash. Typically, it is about 70" by 80" with vertical (warp-wise) stripes that extend from one fringed end to the other. As with all of our custom tallit, the biblical tallit can be woven out of any fiber (although we prefer natural fibers) and with any color and designs.
